How to Create a Twitter Account

April 18, 2018

Twitter is a social media platform made up of short, 280-character posts created by users. These posts can include text, photos, and video and are aggregated into a timeline made up of people you follow.

Emory Radiology has actively used Twitter over the past several months to keep faculty and staff updated on upcoming events and lectures, new employees, and kudos across the department. Twitter is also a great tool to network, learn about topics you may be interested in, keep up with news, and participate in discussion.

Beginning this month, we are introducing a regular Rad Report feature dedicated to teaching department members the basics of Twitter. Below you can find the first short video in this series, a guide to creating your own Twitter account.
