Clinical Divisions - Musculoskeletal Imaging

The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging is composed of four very talented and dedicated faculty. The installation of a 1.5-Tesla Signa HDx and a 3.0-Tesla HDx MR scanner have provided new opportunities not only clinically, but also in the area of research.  Musculoskeletal Imaging faculty work on research projects with its residents and fellows, as well as collaborate with orthopedic physicians to fully explore the capabilities of the state-of-the art equipment. This division is based at the Executive park campus and supports the musculoskeletal needs throughout Emory Healthcare, including the recently sub-specialized operations of Emory University Hospital Midtown.  This division expanded to the Emory University Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital in September of 2008, which has allowed us to further develop our clinical service offerings for referring physicians, enhance the educational experience and advance the possibilities with research.
