Events and Lectures - Special Lectures
In Our Thoughts

On Monday, September 27th the radiology community lost an outstanding teacher, researcher and role model for many radiology and non-radiology residents, Dr. James L. Clements Jr.

Dr. Clements attended Emory University as an undergraduate, medical student and resident.  He served in the military and following his return practiced at Crawford Long Hospital. Dr. Clements officially joined the Emory Radiology faculty in 1968 and became heavily involved in the clinical, education and research aspects of the department.  Each year we honor Dr. Clements through the dedication of one Grand Rounds as the Clements' Lecture.

Those of us who were privileged to have worked with and known Dr. Clements will miss him.
