Career Sketch: Habib Tannir is a Chemist and a Biomedical Engineer by training. He started his career as a Clinical Engineer at William Beaumont Hospital involved in technology management and support. Habib joined General Electric in 1997 and held several leadership roles. He also trained in Six Sigma Performance improvement techniques. In 2002, he started his Radiology management career when he became the Corporate Director of Imaging at University Community Health in Tampa with responsibilities over all their radiology locations. In 2005, Habib joined Emory Healthcare as the Administrative Director of Imaging Services and later assumed the additional duties of Department Administrator.
