She has had an active role in the administration of the department as an Associate Program Director since 2000 and as the Director of the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship since 1998. She has been recognized for outstanding teaching, consistently rated among the top teachers in the department and twice winning the 'Teacher of the Year' award (1997 and 2004). She is also very active nationally serving on numerous committees for the various organizations to which she belongs. These include a second term on the Annual Meeting Program Committee for the ARRS and her most recent appointment as Chair of the committee for General Content for the Maintenance of Certification Examination for the ABR—the section of the test that all recertifying will have to take. She speaks regularly in the plenary sessions and workshops at the SUR, the refresher courses at the RSNA and is a Co-Director of the Case Based Review Course at the ARRS.
