Career Sketch: Dr. Hoover completed his Radiology Residency and continued his education with a Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at Emory University. His previous work experience includes a position as a Hospital Corpsman, along with seven other corpsmen, he was responsible for the immediate care of 200 marines and their medical records during training. Additionally, he worked as an Instructional Support Lab Tutor at Auburn University where he assisted students with supplemental instruction in physics, organic chemistry and genetics. Dr. Hoover's research experience examined the effects of prolonged PYK2 activation in vascular smooth muscle to determine its importance in cell cycle progression and hyperplasia at the University of Alabama School of Medicine’s Department of Physiology and Biophysics.
