Career Sketch: Dr. William Small holds four degrees from Emory, including an undergraduate and three post-graduates. Today, Dr. Small is an active educator with the Emory system, leader through his appointments as division director and Chief of Service at Emory Midtown. Current interests include a variety of topics in CT including contrast usage, dosimetry reduction, reconstruction and interpretation methods, CT-perfusion and dual-energy applications and methods of tumor destruction including radiofrequency ablation and cryotherapy. He is widely published with his most recent research appearing in European Journal of Radiology, Academic Radiology, AJR, and Radiographics.
