Career Sketch: Upon completion of his training in 1999, Dr. Duong remained at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research at the University of Minnesota as a Research Instructor and then as Assistant Professor until 2001, when he was appointed an Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. At the University of Massachusetts, he held appointments in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology, and participated in the Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, and Medical Physics programs. Dr. Duong was recruited to Emory in 2004 as Associate Professor of Neurology, tenure track, and as the Director of the Yerkes Imaging Center. He participates in the Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering programs at Emory and in the Bioengineering program at Georgia Institute of Technology.
