Career Sketch: Previous to coming to Emory in 1984 as Director of the Imaging Science Laboratory , Dr. Eisner worked on the development of nuclear medicine software and hardware systems for the General Electric Company. He developed one of the first quantitative software packages for analysis of SPECT myocardial perfuison imaging studies. Since 1989 he has worked on cardiac SPECT, PET, PET/CT and MRI research and clinical applications in the cardiology department at Emory Crawford Long Hospital. He is a co-author of over 80 publications.
