Career Sketch: During Medical School at Medical College of Georgia (MCG), Dr. Haskins was the student member of the University System of Georgia Board of Regents. Following graduation from MCG, his active duty U. S. Army career spanned 1984-1995 with assignments at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center, and the 85th and 21st Evac Hospitals during Desert Storm with the Bronze Star award. He served as Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Assistant Department Chief at Eisenhower Army Medical Center.

Dr. Haskins' private practice career began following completion of his military service committment, joining Radiology Associates of Thomasville (GA) from 1995-2005; serving as Co-Director of the Loudermilk Heart and Vascular Center; co-founder of the South Georgia Vascular Screening Project; and member of the Credentials, Med-Exec, and Trauma Committees withrotating as Department Chief of Radiology at the John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital. Working with Archbold Hospital and local vascular surgeons and cardiologists, free vascular screening programs were developed with one-on-one interactions between patients and physicians. The development of the Loudermilk Heart and Vascular Center culmanated the cardiovascular services offered the community. Following the dissolution of Radiology Associates, he joined the Carolina Radiology Associates in Myrtle Beach, SC, for a year before undertaking additional training during a fellowship in VIR at George Washington University in Washington DC 2006-2007. Reurning to Georgia following fellowship completion, Dr. Haskins is staffing the the VAMC IR section. He enjoys the interactions with patients, housestaff, and the clinical staff with an emphasis of high quality technique/service with good clinical decision making leading to the best outcomes. Dr. Haskins is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnotic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
