Career Sketch: As a Senior Marketing Manager for Emory Healthcare, Amy Moudy Comeau directs clinical marketing strategy for Emory's Department of Radiology, targeting both the referring physician (B2B) and consumer (B2C) audiences.
She came to the position in 2007 having served for three years as Associate Director, News & Information for Emory's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing. In this role, she served as the school's senior communications officer, coordinating internal and external communications efforts including media relations, publications, messaging, the strategic plan and institutional reports. She increased media coverage for the nursing school by more than 200 percent and helped lead the school's yearlong 2005 Centennial Celebration. She is very involved in the Emory community currently serving as Treasurer for the President's Commission for the Status for Women.
Ms. Comeau came to Emory with more than ten years experience in marketing, public relations and communications, in the performing arts, opera and luxury industries. From 1997 until 2002, she worked for The Atlanta Opera where, after two years as the company's Public Relations and Promotions Manager, she was promoted to lead the department as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. In this capacity, she managed the company's earned revenue through subscription and single ticket campaigns totaling more than $2 million.
Ms. Comeau's experience includes work with Lyric Opera of Chicago, Seattle Opera, The Kennedy Center and the Rialto Center for the Performing Arts at Georgia State University, among others. Shortly after beginning her career, she was selected as one of only four national fellows for the prestigious Opera America Fellowship, a program to develop the next generation of leaders in the arts.
Ms. Comeau received her bachelor's degree in music and a certificate in music business from Northwestern University.
