Career Sketch: Ted worked as an environmental scientist for 18 years. He served as a department manager supervising a staff of 40 scientists and engineers. He trained new staff, provided technical oversight, and led quality improvement projects. As a project manager, he led technical teams conducting various scientific studies and was responsible for preparing instructional/informational materials and presenting to the public, governmental agencies, and corporate clients. He was also responsible for business development and managing multi-million dollar project budgets. Ted became a radiographer in 2005 and joined Emory University Hospital in interventional radiology. He later transferred to The Emory Clinic and became a supervisor for diagnostics, CT and ultrasound. Ted joined Emory's Medical Imaging Program as an instructor in 2008.
