Career Sketch: Dr. Chokshi earned his medical degree at the New York Medical College (Valhalla, NY). He furthered his education by completing his radiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami and completing his Neuroradiology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Chokshi’s research interests include applications of advanced magnetic resonance imaging techniques, including susceptibility weighted imaging and diffusion tensor imaging in spinal imaging (traumatic and degenerative disease), normal aging, acute and chronic traumatic brain and spinal cord injury, and neurogenetic disorders. He is also interested in developing a professional development curriculum for residents and fellows, which includes educating trainees about the business and organizational aspects of radiology. Throughout his residency and fellowship, he has been a lecturer to medical students during their radiology electives. Dr. Chokshi has also been consistently involved in a range of research projects during his residency and fellowship.
