Career Sketch: Dr. Fajman trained at Emory in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine and joined the faculty in 1978. He has worked predominantly at Grady Memorial Hospital where he is Chief of Clinical Nuclear Medicine. He was also Chief of Radiology for 11 years. He has worked predominantly in Nuclear Medicine where he has helped establish cardiac SPECT imaging, acute chest pain imaging in the Emergency Room, and PET/CT in the Cancer Center at Grady. He also helped develop Musculoskeletal MRI when MRI was introduced. He continues to be active in both Nuclear Medicine and MSK Radiology in his daily practice.
