Career Sketch: After completing residencey Dr Halkar worked as a consultant in Kuwait for ten years. Since 1994 he has been a faculty at Emory University and an attending physician at VAMC. He has been a scientific expert for IAEA and and a site inspector for ICANL. Recent research activities include Tc-99m Folate imaging for tumor localization and neuroendcrine tumors diagnosis and radionuclide therapy.
