Career Sketch: Dr. Michael Bernardino has been involved with Emory at various points in his career. After serving as director of managed care, director of abdominal radiology and of magnetic resonance imaging in the early 90’s, he moved onto the University of Buffalo to take on the role of vice president for health affairs and dean of the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Bernardino’s roles are a testament to his dedication to education and advancing the field of radiology. He has been involved in several grant funded research projects, edited two books, authored or co-authored book chapters and more than 180 scientific articles, and given more than 250 scientific presentations or lectures.
