Career Sketch: Stephanie Townsend has worked in diagnostics and Interventional Radiology at Emory University Hospital and taught radiography students and residents. As a Philips Site-visit Representative she trained nurses, physicians, and technologists on Philips equipment. In 2001, she became an instructor for Emory’s Medical Imaging Programs teaching Technique, Patient Care, Clinical, and Education. She has served as Secretary for the Atlanta Society for Radiologic Technologists. She was an invited speaker at the 2006 Alabama Society Meeting speaking on "Imaging Technique". She is published in the journal for the “Association of Educators in Imaging and Radiologic Science".
