Correlate elective PTCA/stent results and calcium burden in the revascularized coronary artery.
PI: Fabio Esteves, MD
Co-Contributors:
Objective is to parallel calcium burden and worse outcome post PTCA/stent assessed by peak troponin I levels following the procedure. Secondary endpoints will include coronary dissection, overall procedure time and inability to revascularize.
Sestamibi/MRI Study - Determining the Efficacy of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
PI: Daniel Lee, MD
Co-Contributors: Carl D'Orsi, MD, FACR, David Schuster, MD, Raghu Halkar, MD, James Galt, Phd, Ruth O'Regan
Significance: This is a feasibility study of sestamibi breast imaging alone or in combination with MRI for assessment of breast tumor response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Tumors will be imaged before treatment, following 4 cycles of chemotherapy, and following completion of chemotherapy, and both sestamibi and MRI scans will be compared to pathology specimens obtained at each of the three time points.
