Images in a volunteer with Glioblastoma Multiforme Favors [18F]FACBC over [18F]FDG

- Left frontal biopsied 1 month later: metastatic adenocarcinoma Tumor better seen with FACBC compared with FDG
Evaluation of a 55 Year old with breast cancer. Metastatic lesion to left frontal brain. Received debulking & radiation therapy in 2000. Two years later new left frontal lesion.

- Lesions are isointense or slightly cold on FDG and hot on FACBC
Evaluation of a 44 year old, with Breast Cancer, with Brain Metastases; who received Whole Brain Radiation Therapy in 2001. One year later new lesions.

- Uptake in Prostate and Obturator and Bilateral Illiac Lymph Nodes
FACBC, Evaluation of a 70 year old with PSA>70 and with Gleason Score 7 in all Prostate Biopsies.
Extraprostatic Recurrence: In 3 patients, ProstaScint had no significant uptake at nodal and skeletal foci, which were intensely positive on FACBC.
Recurrent Prostate Cancer Metastatic to Bone and Lymph Nodes.
