Career Sketch: In January, 2007, Dr. Terk joined Emory University School of Medicine as Division Director, Musculoskeletal Radiology. He came to us from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was Chief of Musculoskeletal Imaging. Prior to that, he served as Division Head of Musculoskeletal Imaging at University of Southern California .He also was joint appointed in the Department of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy where he had a teaching and research post. Dr. Terk works closely with colleages in the Emory Orthopaedics & Spine Center, Emory Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital with regard to MRI, CT, and plain films. He is currently working on expanding the Musculoskeletal Fellowship Program and recruiting faculty candidates. Dr. Terk is interested in translational research transferring promising imaging methods from the laboratory to clinical practice, particularly in the areas of musculoskeletal imaging.
