Application Procedure

Applications for the Radiology Residency Program (PGY 2 through PGY 5) and the Preliminary Radiology Program (PGY 1), must be made through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

If applying for the Residency Research Track, please fillout the Research Track Form and mail to:

Applications are accepted after August 1 of each year.  All application materials should be received by
November 15; materials received after that date may not be considered.  Our receipt of the medical school transcript and all other application materials, with the exception of the Dean's letter, by October 1 may facilitate early screening of your application for interview.

A personal interview is required and is granted at the discretion of the Program Director and/or Resident Selection Committee.  Applicants for a PGY-2 position in 2010 will be considered for interview after a completed application is received.  If an interview is to be offered, the applicant will be contacted by the Residency Program Director's office.

The Department also offers a clinical PGY-1 program.  Preliminary Radiology, begins July 2009 to preced your Radiology Residency.  Only those applicants who match into our PGY-2 Radiology positions for 2010 can match into this clinical PGY-1 program [more information].
